Acacia Hotel, Dahab, Egypt

Every hotel has something charming about it, something special; and for us, the chill out area facing the Red Sea at Acacia Hotel was that something.

Giselle relaxing by the Red Sea at Acacia Hotel

This was our fifth time in Dahab, and out of all of the places we have stayed this was our favourite place to unwind, and relax. But this wasn’t the only comfortable space. Our room was very comfortable, with a good quality bed that gave us an excellent sleep every night.

Those beds were so comfortable. We had to set an alarm to make sure we didn’t sleep through breakfast.

We had a cute little porch to relax on, and our room faced the swimming pool and the back end of the hotel where palm trees swayed in the wind all day.

Beautiful Pool Area

Acacia Hotel is located in the main area of Mashraba, Dahab in walking distance to everything. But if you don’t want a lot of the hassle of walking by every restaurant along the strip, you can sneak through the back of the hotel and enjoy a meal at their restaurant in a less crowded area.

One of the best chill out spots we found in Dahab

The courtyard is very nice to sit in with all the natural light shining through.

Another great and relaxing spot to hang out

There is wifi and a/c  in all of the rooms and it was the best connection we had in all of Dahab.

The staff at Acacia are genuinely helpful and friendly, and felt very comfortable at Acacia and can only hope that things start picking up all over Dahab for everyone’s benefit.

I have never heard of Dahab before but I have now added it to my list of MUST SEE destinations.

What I would do to be there right now.

Winter is coming to Canada soon and I don’t want to be here.

We know how you feel Jason. Cody is back in Saskatchewan to work for two months and he is going to freeze.
We have not been through a Canadian winter in about 3 years so wish us luck.
