Bedouin Moon, Dahab, Egypt
Our room was simple, and comfortable, but charming. Small touches like Moroccan style lamps, photographs of the Bedouin life, and glowing baskets really brought the room together. The bed was comfortable and it is very quiet at night.
The room also had a great little balcony facing the Sea. The view was incredible and both nights we sat outside gazing at the stars. Unfortunately there was no wifi in our room. We could only access it in the lobby or restaurant.
The bathroom was small with a shower head that could definitely use an update as a lot of the water was aimed everywhere but down, but it was hot!
There is a nice fire pit with Bedouin blankets and pillows spread out everywhere. It is a lovely place to sit during the day to get away from the sun for a bit, or in the evening under the stars. If you love cats, like we do, it’s a great place to sit and chill. The cats from the hotel will all come down and lay around on the pillows as well.
The beautiful swimming pool is surrounded by mountains and over looks the Red Sea. Our favourite part was lounging around, enjoying lunch and cold drinks by the water. There was not a lot of people there so we basically had the pool to ourselves which is always nice.
Bedouin Moon is a great little hotel for the budget traveller wanting a slightly more secluded getaway in Dahab.
