Boombully Hostel, Tbilisi, Georgia
Boombully Hostel is located on Rustaveli ave in Tbilisi, Georgia. When we arrived we were greeted right away, shown to our room, and given a tour of the space.
The hostel is located in a great historic apartment building with high ceilings, hard wood floors, and more than enough natural light shining through. There are also nice balcony’s in the dorm rooms where you can enjoy your coffee and breakfast, or just sit and watch the city pass.
Boombully Hostel have 2 dorm rooms, and 3 private rooms available. I found it to be very quiet at night, but had read that a few people thought it was noisy, and so did Cody, but not to worry as there are earplugs at the front desk if needed.
The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. It was very easy to relax and felt more like a friends house than a hostel.
The common space is large, bright, and stylishly decorated.
There are 2 bathrooms with hot water, and a kitchen with free coffee and tea for guests to make use of. Boombully is the only hostel (so far) that I felt comfortable walking around barefoot in. It was spotless.
We made use of the kitchen and cooked most of the time while we stayed there.
The location is great with quite a few cafés, and restaurants to choose from, as well as the opera house, and theatre in walking distance, and if you can handle walking about 20 minutes, your feet will take you to old town Tbilisi.
We were invited to join the Boombully Hostel staff for dinner and Georgian wine, but unfortunately I wasn’t feeling well that evening, so we opted out. We’re sure it would have been a nice time had we joined in.
Thanks for the invite guys!
