One Lucky Duck, New York City

We had the palate pleasure to sample some of One Lucky Duck‘s vegan products while visiting friends and family back in Toronto.

One Lucky Duck is based in New York City and all of their products are raw vegan. They have 2 Juice and Takeaways in New York, one located at Gramercy, and the other at Chelsea Market.

Cheese-Y Quackers
Made from almonds, flax, and a blend of spices, these quackers were so crunchy and nutty. We loved the texture, but at first they tasted a little bitter. After a few more tries we really enjoyed them.  Made with nutritional yeast to give them a cheese-y flavor, these quackers went so nicely with hot tomato soup.

Cheese-y Quackers and Chocolate Macaroons

Chocolate Macaroons
Mmmmmmmmacaroons!! Is there anyone out there that doesn’t like chocolate or coconut? What about chocolate and coconut together?? We haven’t had Macaroons in a long time.

These macaroons were chewy, chocolatey and sweet, exactly what a macaroon should be.

Striped Cinnamon Squares
Oh my goodness. These are packed full of cinnamon goodness and made with almond flour. They are the equivalent of a healthy cinnamon bun. If you are a cinnamon lover, you will love these pretty striped cookies.

Macadamia Cheddar Crunch
These were amazing! So much “cheesy” goodness! We sprinkled  the crunch on our salad. Made with  red pepper, lime, and macadamia nuts, then dehydrated. Our favourite savory product of the bunch.

Look at all of these treats!!

Chocolate Chip Cookies
Not the typical chocolate chip cookie you would expect, but none the less delicious, and much healthier. These cookies are made with almond flour, packed with vegan chocolate chips and dehydrated.

Everything we tried was packaged so nicely, but most importantly, healthy, delicious, and cruelty free. We look forward to visiting One Lucky Duck the next time we are in New York City.
