TENFACE Bangkok, Bangkok, Thailand
Returning to Bangkok was like returning home.
We felt relaxed and happy stepping out onto the streets of Sukhumvit, and stepping into TENFACE Bangkok kept us relaxed and happy.
We checked into our beautiful 1 bedroom suite for 2 nights in our favourite area of Bangkok and enjoyed every minute of our time there.
Our room was very spacious, cool and stylish.
Built in 2010, TENFACE is a minimal but cool Thai style boutique hotel located in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok (Ploenchit station)
This urban piece of heaven is inspired by Tosakan, the ten faced giant from the story of Ramakien.
With Tosakan’s 10 pairs of eyes, and 10 faces, he consumed knowledge and saw beyond the norm.
Tenface provides their guests with off the beaten path places to visit, a taste of local culture, and a lowdown on what’s cool.
Pipek, Tenface’s concierge and entertainment guru is there to help with in house movie and music downloads as well as getting you on the list for the city’s most exclusive events, exhibitions, and parties.
Breakfast was included in our stay and it was vegan friendly which is always a plus for us!
We were served a big plate of vegan veggie fried rice, and soy milk was available at the buffet, along with salad, fresh fruit and some vegan cereals.
I also was able to enjoy fresh coffee in the morning with soy or coconut milk.
TENFACE provides a 24 hour tuktuk shuttle service to and from Ploenchit station which is extremely convenient. We also walked a few times when we weren’t in any rush and the walk took us about 15 minutes. No too bad at all.
TENFACE has 70 rooms some of which are apartments with kitchen units with 1 and 2 bedrooms to choose from.
The bar on the 1st floor is funky and is always playing great atmospheric music.
We had a great stay at TENFACE and just might check back in when we return to Bangkok in a few days.
