Tahrir Square, Post Revolution Egypt
Cody and I decided that since we were in Cairo, we would take the opportunity to visit Tahrir Square, ground zero for the Egyptian Revolution.
We were warned not to go, but we felt a responsibility to share that not everything you see on television and hear on the news is the truth.
We felt very safe at Tahrir Square, as many Egyptians felt responsible for our well being, and strolled along with us as we toured the grounds.
The people were very happy that we had visited and wanted to share their stories.
The individuals in these photos are not criminals or thugs as the ruling government (military) would like you to believe.
They are the face of Egypt and they want and deserve change.
